My name is Anna Kerns. I graduated from Holy Family University in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Early Education. This is my fourth year teaching Pre-K4. Before graduating, I worked as a preschool classroom aid for 3 years. I truly value the importance of Catholic Education. I am a proud Catholic School Alum from Little Flower Catholic High School. My Catholic schooling helped shape me into the teacher I am today. I am looking forward to a great year!
In PreK 4 we introduce basic skills needed for learning! We learn and develop our social skills, following directions, motor skills, letter sounds and recognition, numbers, and listening skills. We’ll also work on our ABCs, using letters and drawings to describe things like people, places, experiences, and feelings. Social skills are a big focus in pre-K as your child gets ready for kindergarten. Your child will work on talking through big feelings and resolving conflicts with words. Every day’s a little different but it’s always an adventure!
